Deepika Bajaj is Founder and President of Invincibelle and co-founder
of ActiveGarage. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she worked in
telecommunications consulting and corporate marketing. The author
of DiversityTweet: Embracing the Growing Diversity in Our World ,
Deepika will soon release an e-book “PINK and Grow RICH”, that will
feature women leaders who have competed successfully in a multicultural
world. She speaks and consults frequently on diversity, blogs at
www.deepikabajaj.com and writes a column on social media for ActiveGarage.
Deepika holds an undergraduate degree from Bangalore University in India
and an M.B.A. in marketing from Fordham University in New York.

where she is responsible for strategic fund development. In doing so, her

not-for-profit organizations. In addition to Olive Crest, her fund raising
prowess has benefitted organizations such as the Nevada Business Authority,
Autism Speaks and the Nevada System of Higher Education. She holds
memberships in the Asian, Las Vegas, Latin and Urban Chambers of Commerce.

Dulcinea Almazan

Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas
Dulcinea Almazan is Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas (BGCLV) where she helps manage eight
neighborhood Boys & Girls Club facilities. Prior to assuming a position at
BGCLV, Dulcinea served on the organization’s governing board and was
chair of the Development and Art Auction committees. Previously, she
worked as a licensed insurance agent. Dulcinea is president-elect of the
Las Vegas Fremont Rotary Club and vice president of philanthropy for
Kappa Kappa Gamma Southern Nevada Alumnae Association. A graduate
of Leadership Las Vegas, Dulcinea holds an undergraduate degree from the
University of Arizona.

Marilyn Johnson is Vice President Market Development of IBM Corporation
where she is responsible for developing global strategy to market to
businesses owned and operated by minority women. She has extensive
management experience in sales and marketing in the information technology
industry. Marilyn has held leadership positions with many important
organizations and has served on the executive boards of the Asian Pacific
Islander American Scholarship Foundation, National Council of Negro
Women, American Airlines Marketing Advisory Council and the Advisory
Board for One World Theater in Austin, Texas. She has been awarded for
her commitment to mentoring and coaching. She currently has 16 mentees.

Jackie Thompson

Jackie Thompson is Corporate Community Affairs Manager of Southwest
Airlines where she is responsible for the company’s community relations in
Arizona, Nevada and Southern California. In this role, she is spokesperson
for Southwest Airlines and also serves in an advisory capacity with organizations
such as the Foundation for Women, East Valley Partnership and Tempe
Chamber of Commerce in Arizona. She is recipient of many awards including
the Los Angeles Congressional District Community Pride Excellence Service
Award, Tempe Arizona Business Woman of the Year and most recently, the
Los Angeles Jenesse Center Silver Rose Award. Additionally, she is recipient
of the President’s Award from Southwest Airlines.

Cynthia Kiser-Murphey

Cynthia Kiser-Murphey is President and Chief Operating Officer of New York-
New York. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of
operations at the property. Before assuming her current position, Kiser-Murphey
was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for MGM Resorts International
and was a guiding force in the development of the company’s comprehensive
wellness and disease prevention program, negotiation of labor agreements and
joint labor management cooperative relationships, implementation of diversity
initiatives and culture-building people programs. She currently serves as
Chairperson of the State of Nevada Academy of Health, Co-Chair for the Health
Services Coalition of Southern Nevada and a Trustee of the Hotel Employees
and Restaurant Employees International Union Health and Welfare Fund. She
has served on the State of Nevada Governor’s Commission on Medical
Education, Research and Training

Shayla Rivera is a comedian and motivational speaker and has been named "Funniest Latina Comedian" by the organization, Latin 2015. Born and raised
in Puerto Rico, Rivera grew up with an avid interest in science and engineering.
She attended Texas A&M University where she earned an undergraduate
degree in aerospace engineering. She then joined NASA’s Johnson Space
Center in Houston where she worked on shuttle and space station programs.
She also is an experienced corporate trainer who specializes in stress management.

Marshawn Evans

Marshawn Evans is an entertainment attorney and motivational speaker. She also
manages professional athletes and leads EDGE 3M Sports & Entertainment.
She is also owner of ME Unlimited, a consulting firm that focuses on reinvention,
diversity, and innovative leadership strategies. Her most recent book is SKIRTS
in the Boardroom: A Woman’s Survival Guide to Success in Business & Life.
Marshawn is best known for her work as a cast member on NBC’s
“The Apprentice” where she was the only woman to lead an all-women’s team
to a victory as the Project Manager. Marshawn is a graduate of Georgetown
University Law Center. She has practiced as a commercial litigator and
employment lawyer. She was recently named among the “Power 30 under 30” in
Atlanta, Georgia.

Glenda Hatchett
Author, Judge and Television Personality

Glenda Hatchett presides over the Emmy-nominated syndicated show “Judge Hatchett”
which is currently in its 9th season. She is also author of the best selling book “Say What
You Mean, Mean What You Say.” Previously Glenda was employed by Delta Airlines
as senior attorney litigating cases in federal court and manager of public relations where
she supervised crisis management and public relations for the company’s operations in
the U.S., Europe and Asia. At that time, she was distinguished as the highest ranking
African American woman at Delta Airlines. Glenda later became the first
African-American to serve as the chief presiding judge of a state court in Georgia. She
also led one of the largest juvenile court systems in the country. Glenda serves on the
board of the Atlanta Falcons and on the board of advisors of Play Pumps International.

Janet O is a journalist with Las Vegas Channel 8 News Now Morning Show
where she has covered major news events including the investigation of
Michael Jackson’s death, the O.J. Simpson robbery trial and the opening of
the multi-billion dollar CityCenter. Prior to Channel 8, she was a reporter in
Spokane, Washington. She also was co-host of the first-ever
Korean-America Day in Olympia, Washington. Active in the local community,
Janet is the official emcee of the Asian Chamber of Commerce’s monthly
luncheons. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of
California-Berkeley and a Master of Arts degree in broadcast journalism
from Syracuse University in New York.

Vida Linn is President of the Asian Chamber of Commerce in Southern Nevada
where she is distinguished as the first women to hold the position in the organization’s
24-year history. An integral contributor to the growth of the Asian business
community in Southern Nevada, she has worked for 15 years as an executive in
the insurance industry and where she currently oversees multi-lingual staffs. She is
recipient of numerous awards for community and professional achievement. Vida is
a member of the National Association of Professional Women and was recognized by
the Las Vegas Business Press with its 2010 “Women Who Mean Business” award.

network where she oversees 82 Wells Fargo branch locations. She also oversees two

programs. In addition, Charles also manages the Southern Nevada Wells Fargo Banking
Education Center, which provides outreach and financial education services for all age
levels throughout southern Nevada. She reports to Wells Fargo Nevada Regional
President Kirk V. Clausen.

Mae Douglas is Vice President and Chief People Officer for Cox Communications
where she is responsible for all of Cox’s human resources functions, including talent
and leadership development, organizational development, workforce planning & recruiting,
employee relations, labor relations, diversity, compensation and human resources
management systems. Ms. Douglas joined CableRep, Cox’s advertising sales division
in 1995 as Manager of Employee Relations and was promoted to Director of Employee
Relations in 1998. She was promoted to Regional Vice President of Ad Sales for
CableRep in 1999. Ms. Douglas joined Cox from Ciba-Geigy Corporation in Greensboro,
NC, where she was responsible for all human resources functions for the company’s
Agricultural Division. Ms. holds a B.A. degree in sociology from the University of North
Carolina. She currently served on the board of directors for the National Association for
Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).

Public Relations chair for the Southern Nevada Hispanic Employment Program and
an Advisory Board Member for the Southern Nevada Compensation and Benefits
Association.

Angélica Quiroz-Maralason is the Public Information Coordinator for the Southern
Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) where she reaches out to the Hispanic community
and encourages residents to join the SNWA’s conservation efforts and to participate
in the Springs Preserve’s events and activities. She managed the development and
production of the SNWA's water conservation and water quality information programs
in Spanish, and serves as the spokesperson for the Water District, SNWA and the Springs
Preserve on all inquiries from the Spanish-speaking media.

Delia de la Vera is the Deputy Vice President for the Strategic Communications Group
(SCG) of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR). She oversees NCLR’s strategy to
strengthen the NCLR-Affiliate Relationships through capacity building, partnership
development, leadership development, and fundraising efforts related to NCLR’s major
events and meetings including the NCLR Annual Conference, the NCLR Capital Awards,
the NCLR ALMA Awards and the NCLR Pre-ALMA Gala. Delia is also a producer of the
NCLR ALMA Awards, a primetime entertainment television special. She holds a bachelor’s
degree in Regional Development and Latin American Studies.
